cheesy double decker taco

okay now that that’s out of the way. it’s another stroke of genius from the masterminds at taco bell! this time, they took something old, and added cheese to it. no, i’m not talking about the cheesy gordita crunch. not the cheesy potato burrito. this isn’t the gordita nacho cheese. nor the nacho cheesy crunchwrap supreme. not even the cheesy cheese roll ups. no. NO. it’s the cheesy double decker taco! yaay!

take a double decker taco (a crunchy taco with a large flour tortilla pasted to its outside with refried beans), then squirt some nacho cheese in there, annnnnd you’re set. yeah. not too complicated. a classic taco bell move. but it’s not bad. and it’s like… 89¢. that may be the promotional price, but let’s be honest – this thing isn’t gonna last long after the promotion anyway. so it’s totally worth a buy. if you’ve had the classic double decker taco, you pretty much know what you’re getting into. the soft outer tortilla contrasts well with the crunchy inner one. interesting textures. it’s the same here, just with a bit of cheese. which blends with the beans pretty nicely. and makes it a lot more messy. but who doesn’t like a good bit of messy?
